DASA Programme Details

The Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation (DASA) Project provides free intercultural therapy and practical advocacy support for women affected by domestic abuse who are living in, moving into, or transitioning from safe accommodation.

Who is eligible?

You may be eligible for support if you are a woman affected by domestic abuse and are currently living in, or moving between, any of the following:

  • Refuge accommodation

  • Sanctuary Scheme accommodation

  • Temporary Accommodation provided by a local authority

  • Supported Housing

  • Dispersed Accommodation

  • Hotel or B&B accommodation arranged as part of a domestic abuse housing pathway

  • Other forms of safe accommodation for survivors of domestic abuse

  • Women transitioning from one form of safe accommodation to another or into longer-term housing

What support is available?

The DASA Programme offers:

  • Intercultural therapy tailored to your individual needs

  • Practical advocacy and support with housing, services, and other challenges

  • Emotional wellbeing support during periods of transition and recovery

  • Support delivered by practitioners who understand the importance of culture, identity, language, and lived experience

Cost

All support provided through the DASA Programme is free of charge for eligible women.
