Nafsiyat’s Arabic, Amharic and Tigrinya Speaking Women’s Group (AATSWG) is a psychoeducational/psychosocial women’s group that offers the following:
- Empowerment and integration workshops
- Wellbeing/healthy eating workshops
- Cooking and bakery classes
- Art and crafts classes:
– Knitting
– Crochet
– Jewellery making
– Glass painting - Social activities:
– Visiting art centres, museums and galleries
– Picnics
The aim of the Arabic, Amharic and Tigrinya Speaking Women’s group is to provide a safe space where vulnerable women can help each other, share their past experiences and how they overcame them, and to help the women integrate into society.
AATSWG is not a drop in centre and new members are accepted by completing the Nafsiyat AATSWG REFERRAL FORM.
The group is for all adult women, 18+, who speak one of the above languages.
It is run weekly on Saturdays, from 10am to 2pm.

There is no cost for membership of the AATSWG and refreshments are provided by Nafsiyat AATSWG.
The group is run by Sega Habtom, Qualified Integrative Counsellor.
