We currently offer intercultural therapy to people living in the London boroughs of Camden, Islington, Enfield and Haringey. This therapy is short-term only, but available at no charge.
To access this therapy, you need either to be referred to us, for example by your GP, or you can apply to refer yourself.
To apply to us directly, you will need to be registered with a GP and aged 18 or over.
If you would like to apply to us for therapy please check if we are accepting referrals in your area (see the service status below) and then fill in the form below. Or you can download the referral form below, fill it in and send to us.
Please be aware that, while we are committed to helping as many people as possible who require our services, our therapists and appointment times can sometimes get booked up, meaning that we may then be unable to take on any new clients. If this should happen, we will be happy to put you in touch with other organisations who may be able to help you.
If you have any queries, please get in touch via our contact page.
*Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and following government guidance on social distancing, we are only currently offering telephone or video counselling. We can no longer accept referrals posted or faxed.
For people registered with a Camden GP, Nafsiyat will now only directly accept self-referrals. If you would like to refer yourself to Nafsiyat, please use the ‘Refer to Nafsiyat’ online form below, or download the Self-Referral Form and email it to Nafsiyat. All other referrals (from GPs, voluntary sector organisations, other healthcare professionals) will be triaged by the iCope service. Please use the iCope referral form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. If the referral is appropriate for Nafsiyat, please indicate this clearly in the ‘reasons for referral’ section.
We are only currently accepting referrals for our new Brief Emotional Support service, which is a more immediate, brief response for people who are struggling with issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic, including bereavement, grief or loss. Please make appropriate referrals through the form below, mentioning Covid-19 as a reason.

Our waiting lists are closed. We are temporarily not accepting referrals for this service, due to an increase in demand for our contracted services. We are recruiting to meet the need and will update this message when we are able to again accept new Choice referrals. In the interim, The Black, African, Asian Therapy Network (BAATN) has a directory of therapists who may be able to provide support.
