Nafsiyat is recruiting a Fundraising and Events Coordinator
We are looking for Fundraising and Events Coordinator to join our team for 10 months to establish and develop a ‘community fundraising’ income stream.
This will require considerable initiative to establish Nafsiyat as a charity that people and communities want to, and are easily able to, raise funds for through activities such as organised walks, marathons, baking events, etc.
The person that takes on this role will also be responsible for at community and business events related to Nafsiyat’s position as the Islington Mayor’s charity of the year. They will also support the delivery of our own fundraising events. This will include preparing promotional materials, creating content for social media, soliciting individual donations at events, liaising with venues, and managing invitations.
The post holder will provide administrative support to Nafsiyat’s Grant Fundraiser including maintaining a fundraising tracker and pipeline; managing correspondence; undertaking prospect research; and supporting monitoring and reporting relevant to grant and relationship management.
