Arabic, Amharic and Tigrinya speaking Women's Group

Arabic, Amharic and Tigrinya speaking Women’s Group (AATSWG) is a psychoeducational/psychosocial women's group which offers the following workshops/activities:

  • Empowerment and integration workshops
  • Wellbeing/healthy eating workshops
  • Cooking and bakery classes
  • Art and crafts classes:
    • Knitting, crochet,
    • Jewellery making,
    • Glass painting
  • Social activities:
    • Visiting art centres, museums and galleries
    • Picnics

Who: the group is for all adult women, 18+, who speak one of the above languages

When: fortnightly on Saturdays, from 10am to 2pm

Where: Islington Mind, 35 Ashley Road, London N19 3AG

AATSWG is not a drop in centre and new members are accepted by completing the below referral form.

This group is run by Sega Habtom, a qualified Integrative Counsellor.
