Intercultural Therapy Centre
Intercultural psychotherapy and counselling recognises the importance of race; culture: beliefs, values, attitudes, religion and language; and the external realities of the client's life: poverty, refugee status, racism, sexism, physical health and abilities.
Recognising the differences and similarities of various aspects of culture for both the client and therapist and also being sensitive to the external realities of the client during therapy / counselling are considered vital for the successful outcome of the therapy. As such, we provide therapy sessions in clients specific different languages to eradicate barriers and truly help the clients.
